When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not ready. The challenge will not wait. Life does not look back. A week is more than enough time for us to decide whether or not to accept our destiny.”~ Paul Coelho

"Some Mad Hope..."
A young and vital child knows no limit to his own will, and it is the only reality to him. It is not that he wants at the outset to fight other wills, but that they simply do not exist for him. Like the artist, he goes forth to the work of creation, gloriously alone.

Sweet Simplicity: Jude's Upcoming Art Exhibit

There is nothing sweeter and more simple than the beauty and love of a child. The purity of their spirit, the honesty of their emotions, the simplicity of their needs, inspire me to believe in something greater and more Divine. Children are often our greatest teachers. They remind me never to dismiss the power of kindness, hope and true love.

My exhibit, "Sweet Simplicity" will be on display:

  1. Love these paintings of children and the creator of them too. Good luck with the show and continued success in your work. This is a fantastic photo of you ! -- JDR

  2. I love you JDR. I am happy and excited by what lies ahead. I am just enjoying the ride and trying to do the best that I know how at this moment. Thank you. Children will always be one of my greatest inspirations. Their beauty, energy and simple acceptance of life are a reminder to live and love. I try not to fight "who" and "what" I am any longer. My son Robert and my daughter Christina are my chief photographers:) I should have posted the one of me hanging upside down off the couch or wrestling the dog...hmmmm. maybe next time:)
