One of my favorite scenes:
Can any of us handle the truth?
To all of the men and women who serve and have served, who died and will die, to protect us and our nation: thank you on behalf of myself and my family on this Memorial Day.It all matters, as unfortunate as it is that we need your "armed" presence to defend us and our freedom, it is a reality. Your bravery and loyalty is greatly appreciated! And to our dear friend Michael Cunningham, who leaves today for Kuwait: "be safe!" You are in our thoughts and prayers.

The reality of us protecting our freedoms is a complete lie. We are now the primer aggressors and feared around the world. We spend obsene amounts of $ while lacking health care and other basics. We are prisoners of the dominant culture and we repeat the messages of the propanganda the masters have fed us since birth. How much more do we have to witness before we understand the lies we are told ? How much suffering have we caused and how many more innocents will suffer and die at the military madness we spead across the world ? If Christ were to come again and spread his message of love, our "protectors" would surely consider him a threat to "security" and would kill him dead again.
